For sale is a very special #1 Vintage Barbie. Her original owner was a adult employee of Mattel and so she was never played with. Ultra rare HTF hand painted face(free form, no stencils), you can see the tiny brush strokes. This treasure was one of the very first dolls and a gift from Mattel. Some of you may know that the Handlers and Mattel were very family/ employee focused and this doll was awarded to her owner for doing a job well done. Proof of this is the fact that there isn't a price sticker or remnants of one on the box. This doll was not sold in a store!!
This Barbie is an exceptional doll, a once in a lifetime opportunity . All original hair, make up etc. No touch-ups, slight fading to lips. Rubber bands are factory original. Holes in bottom of feet, tubes are silver in color. Slight red transfer from shoes. Finger and toe polish is perfect. Some of the toes even appear to be individually filed. Such attention to detail, she is practically a Proto-type.
Her body is in super condition, still retains flesh and blush colors. No splits or other damage. Typical fading to face and upper torso. No stains or spots, other the feet.
This fantastic doll comes with EVERYTHING. Her correct T.M. box, liner, VHTF stand, silver earrings, swimsuit, booklet and shoes. Very best of all she still has her instruction paper!! This is impossible to find and in such perfect condition. No rips or other damage.
